italian T.BENDER
The Italian T.Bender is a foot operated distortion accessory.
Electronically fuzzy distortion effects are produced with a foot tap.
The italian T.Bender creates harmonics that are nonexistent in the fundamental signal.
The exciting sound of many of the world's famous Rock'n'Roll bands.
This unite is a clone of an iconic distortion unite from the 60's.
Its simple electronic 2 transistors architepture is particularly happy because it produces a rich in tone distortion
without denaturalizing the sound of the electric guitar. Its magical tones
are due the sophisticated selection of its few electronic components.
Resistors are Carbon Composition type.
This kind of resistors, are perfect sounding on Germanium transistors fuzz boxes.
In spite of others device like Wha-Wha, they are always mounted in fuzz boxes.
The capacitors in this unite are brand new and with the same
electronic values and type of the original fuzz boxes of 60's.
Note the polistirene capacitor inside.
SERIE SFT SERIE AC
The italian T.BENDER, black label, alluminium box comes in two different version depending by its transistors equipment.
The italian T.Bender, black label, WHITE DOT has 2 transistors Germanium type, SFT series.
The first one (Q1) is SFT 323, the other one (Q2) is SFT353. Both are specifically selected
eachone with its proper gain (HFE) for producing that magical tones.
The italian T.Bender, black label, RED DOT has 2 transistors Germanium type,
Q1 is AC125, the other one, Q2, is SFT353.
There are no trimers inside the italian T.Bender.
All transistors are specifically selected eachone with its proper gain (HFE) and low noise (Leachage).
That's why those unites are exclusive.
All components are mounted on a coated vetronite plate.
The LOOK.
The look of your unite is inspired by the early beautifull
fuzz boxes produced in Italy in those years with the black alluminium screen printed label,
the carateristic chickenhead knobs for Attack and Level controls, the IN and OUT sockets on top
and with an elegant white led turning red when the effect is inserted in a way that is perfect in a 60's style looking box.
Note: this unite can be powered with a common
9V DC adaptor, central positive.
Due this it can NOT be in the power chain with other effects but it needs its own adaptor.
