MEGATON
The Megaton is a distortion-sustain unite for guitar or bass.
It can elaborate a wide range of frequencies and it sounds good with electric organs too.
This is a boutique clone of the beautifull early version of a distortion-sustain box projected and built in Italy in 60th'.
Its killer effect is due the combination of four specific diodes and two silicon transistors and it is a forerunner in this
kind of projects.
We really love this unique piece of the guitar effects history for its incredible sound effectiveness and its
ductility in working both with low and high frequencies.
The MEGATON is equipped with two silicon transistors BC149 selected.
Megaton is hand wired, worked, assembled and carefully tested.
It can be powered with battery(9V), alternatively with a power supply DC 9v, central negative.
Due this, Megaton normally can operate in chain with other effects.

We spent a lot of us to give out exactely that trilling charmig sound and look.
Megaton's enclosure retracs the original icy look designed by Walter Hergenröther,
with the alluminium box, mirror polished, the black mask on the controls top, the orizontal visual concept, knobs in the original 60's style.
