TUBE CREAMER
Tube Creamer is an overdrive based on the tube type 12AU7 also called ECC82.
Description.
The architepture of this circuit exploits the ability to activate the anodo-catodo activity of the tube, warming the filament inside
of it with low corrent voltage. As on as you connect the main plug, the tube starts warming and it 'll be always on, hot and
ready for sounding its overdrive effect, during the performance, by the foot tap. Infact, for this porpuse, the footswitch doesn't act on
tube powering but on the effect ON/OFF only.
The components, some resistors and some capacitors, are all "analogic". No integrated circuit or "strange" components in the Tube Creamer.
The Resistors inside the box are Carbon film type, perfect for this circuit for their extrehemely low noise and for the warm sound.
The capacitors are all brand new, polyeter and one electrolitic. In spite of its semplicity produces a sophisticated overdrive effect,
rich of beautifull, pleasurable harmonics and with an overdrive effect responsive to dinamic. Each played note is colored by dinamic of esecution.
The unite comes with its own external power adaptar 12V DC, central positive and with a tube 12AU7.
