TREBLER
TREBLER is a Germanium transistored treble booster unite.
DESCRIPTION
TREBLER is a clone of an iconic trebler booster unite from 60s' with the advantage of the footswitch control and in an elegant look style, inspired to the original 60's one.
Its simple electronic architepture pushes the sound of the electric guitar in a cold colored tonal zone, mantaining an extraordinary, natural sounding balance.
Its pleasurable tones are due the sophisticated selection of its few electronic components.
The resistors in this unite are Carbon Composition type, tha same as the original box because they sound very well in this kind of circuits.
The Capacitors, polystirene and electrolitics, are all brand new and of the same type and electronic values used in 60s'. The polistirene capacitors, stable and clean with low leakage in high frequencies.
The large potentiometer monted in this box is a wire wound type, top end responce in high frequencies, excellent characterics, infinite time life. Note the typical "grinding" effect when rotating it.
The transistor is OC44, brand Mullard, selected for its proper working gain and low leakage.
The components are point-to-point wired respecting the 60s' contruction concept.

"...like a blu light on the guitar sound..."...this is the impression inspired us for the look of TREBLER...a box in an elegant pastel light blu 60s' style , and blu notes wawing to high from a wawed blu pentagram, inspired by the original graphic from 60's, taking life from actioning the blue control knob. A white led, mounted on the box in a way would be right in 60's, turns blu when the effect is inserted.
The carton enclosure assures the safety of the unite and it is in a lovely psychedelic 60's style.
